Wembley

Sunday was the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley between Carlisle and Southampton. Paul is a big Carlisle fan so we had family a trip to Wembley.

Zoë made me a special hat and scarf in Carlisle colours, here I am all dressed up and ready to go.
We went by train hoping that it would be easier than driving, we were very lucky to get seats both ways as the train was very busy.

This is our first view of the stadium when we got off the train.

There were people everywhere, over 70,000 people at the match, about 21,000 of them supporting Carlisle.

I was really impressed with the stadium once we were inside, we had really good seats, and we could see all the action.

Unfortunately the result did not go the way we planned, Southampton won 4-1. We still had a good time and it was great to go to Wembley and support our team together.

Snow!!!

We have had lots of snow this morning, but it stopped snowing around lunchtime. I decided to make a snowman before it starts snowing again. As it is so cold I found a hat and went into the garden.

I wasn't able to find anything to make a face for my snowman but he does have arms! I need to have a nice hot drink now to warm up after playing in the snow, I am very cold and a little damp.

Little Chef

We went on a corvette club outing to the Little Chef, it was one of the Heston Blumenthal ones. The food was very nice and the interior was great.

There was lots of corvettes to look at. Paul enjoyed taking his corvette out for the first time in ages.

Night Out

On Saturday night we went out for dinner at TGI Friday's and then to see some stock car racing in Coventry. The food was good, the racing was fun and there was an excellent fireworks display.

I'm back!

Sorry I have been away for a long time, I was having a rest after my trip to Belfast. Today I am at work with Zoë. I am staying in her coat pocket out of the way. She decided this morning that it looked like a miserable day and felt like some company on the way to work, so here I am.

It is too dark in here to take a picture, and it would be a very boring one of the inside of a pocket if I could take one. I hope that the next time I go out it will be a little more exciting.

Bye for now...

Big Fish

Last night we went to see the Big Fish. We saw the fish on a video when we were at the Tile Museum in Ironbridge and Paul said he would take me to see it when we went to Belfast. It is a very impressive fish.

While I was having my photo taken it tried to eat me! I was very scared, I think I will avoid big fish in the future.

I needed to have a big drink afterwards!

We are coming home tonight, I have had a lovely time, but I look forward to seeing Zoë this evening.
